In May 1959, the Kryvyi Rih Metallurgical College was established. According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of May 29, 1997 No. 218 Kryvyi Rih Metallurgical College became part of the State Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine (since 1999 the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine), as a separate structural unit of the I accreditation level – Kryvyi Rih College of the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine.The college offers higher education for graduates of general secondary education institutions (grades 9-11) and vocational education institutions (without certificates of independent external testing).Our graduates receive an educational and qualification level – a junior specialist in relevant specialties and have the opportunity to continue training in related specialties in universities of III-IV level of accreditation, in particular in senior courses (2-3 courses) at the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine (Dnipro) and Kryvyi Rih Metallurgical Institute NMetAU.

Kremenchug Pedagogical School named after AS Makarenko is a higher educational institution of the I level of accreditation with a good material base, methodical and informational support of the educational process. It was established by order of the People’s Commissariat of Education on September 1, 1931, according to which the Lokhvitsky technical school of Soviet construction was reorganized into a pedagogical technical school.

The school consists of three departments: preschool education, primary education, the department of physical education and the Poltava regional lyceum-boarding school for gifted rural youth at the Kremenchug pedagogical school. AS Makarenko.

History

Created in the early 60’s of last century by the decision of the Government of the USSR Kryvyi Rih technical schools of catering (1962) and Soviet trade (1963), in 1985 were merged into one school – Kryvyi Rih Technical School of Soviet Trade, which in 1991 renamed the Commercial College.

The modern name – Kryvyi Rih State Commercial and Economic College has been an educational institution since December 2000.

Today, 861 students study at three branches of KDKET.

On November 16, 2002, the Kryvyi Rih Training Center of the Mikhail Tugan-Baranovsky Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade started operating on the basis of KDKET.

From 2006 to 2011, 540 specialists were trained in the field of trade and restaurant business.

Graduates are awarded the qualification of «junior specialist in accounting» who is able to perform settlement and economic work in organizations, enterprises and institutions of different fields of activity of all forms of ownership and can hold positions:
